Pure Skin Junkie is for real people with everyday skin conditions. Pure Skin Junkie uses all natural ingredients to treat different skin conditions in a safe and effective manner.

Philosophy

The philosophy of Pure Skin Junkie is simple:

  • Irritation and inflammation are the core of all skin conditions including acne. So what they've done is eliminate all chemical fillers and toxic ingredients that contribute to irritation and inflammation.
  • Pure Skin Junkie uses a technology call chiral or chirally-correct skin care. This simply means that the molecules used have been created to fit perfectly within the skin cell receptor so that the product actually works better. For example, if you went to a health food store, you will see that all amino acids have an "L" in front of them, such as, L-lysine. This is the only form that our body accepts. Also, you've probably heard of L-ascorbic acid. Well, this has been proven to be the best form of vitamin C that our bodies recognize.
  • Pure Skin Junkie uses 100% "raw" herbal, botanical, and fruit extracts in their natural form leaving you with glowing, gorgeous skin!

Active Ingredients

Pure Skin Junkie uses Retinaldehyde as their main active ingredient. Research shows that Retinaldehyde is 500 times stronger than just plain old retinol. Retinaldehyde is just as effective as Retin A, but without the irritation associated with this product. Why? It's simple… Retin A cannot be shut off once it's on the skin. So it is constantly working, and irritating the skin, causing inflammation which looks like it temporarily makes lines disappear. Retinaldehyde on the other hand, is 100% stored in the skin to be available for use at any time. Retinaldehyde actually remodels the dermis. It prevents future scars and eliminates wrinkles. All of this without flaking or redness? Wow!

Pure Skin Junkie products also use Phosphatidylcholine, which is what makes products penetrate so effectively. It increases penetration to 10 times normal and provides essential fats to your skin, which heal everything from acne to UV sun damage. Niacinamide is effective in helping the skin barrier, acne and photodamage. It acts as an antioxidant while stimulating collagen and elastin. It’s great for all skin conditions!

Regimen

Pure Skin Junkie / Pure Skin Rx has a simple regimen:

  1. Cleanse with either a gentle cleanser called Dirty Girl which contains Zeolite or an exfoliating gel called Clean Freak! which contains L-lactic acid, L-malic and L-tartaric acids.
  2. Nourish with Cellular Serum Antioxidant Skin Food. This contains the very antioxidants and enzymes that our skin produces to function on a daily basis. So it's giving the largest organ of your body (the skin) its daily dose of nutrients.
  3. Treat with Retinal or Retinaldehyde products that are created specifically for all skin conditions. Youth Serum is for anti-aging or photo-damaged skin, Lighten Up! is for brown spots from the sun or pregnancy, Chill Out! is for rosacea prone skin and B'Bye Anti-Blemish Serum is for acne. All of these products are 2-in-1 because not only do they contain Retinal or Retinaldehyde, they also contain ingredients that target the specific skin condition.
  4. Protect with a sun-block product. Pure Skin Junkie has three options. Mineral D-light for those who like a powder finish, Undercover 17 for acne-prone skin, and DayShield 30 for mature skin types.
